Authors, remember: You must register by April 1st to be eligible for a panel or to moderate a panel.
All authors (if you are registered) should have received an email with an attached form. Please fill it out and send it back to our Panel Chairs using the link below as soon as you can.

Debut Mystery Author Breakfast
NOLA is fortunate and deeply appreciative to have Michael Connelly, Lee Child, and Andrew Child sponsoring the Debut Mystery Author Breakfast again this year. We’re especially thrilled that Michael Connelly has graciously agreed to serve as the host. It’s going to be incredible!
The Debut Mystery Author Breakfast is set for Saturday, September 6th, from 7:30 to 9:30 am. Mark your calendars—you won’t want to miss this exciting event!
To qualify as one of the authors, the following criteria must be met:

The debut mystery novel must be published between September 8, 2024, and September 7, 2025.

This must be the author’s first novel. (Previous non-fiction books, Children's books, or poetry would be exceptions).
30 authors will have one minute to introduce their book and have their cover displayed on the big screen.

Scooters
We are working to procure some scooter rentals at a reasonable rate for folks who will need one on site and don’t travel with their own. If you anticipate that you’ll be in need of one, please email us at bouchercon2025@bouchercon.com and put this in the subject line: Connie I Need a Scooter. We’ll do our best to accommodate each request, but the sooner we hear from you the better. We’ll repeat this message in upcoming newsletters.

Hotel Information
The Marriott Hotel, located at 555 Canal Street in New Orleans, is the perfect venue for Bouchercon 2025. With plenty of elevators and escalators, getting from one floor to another will be quick and easy, ensuring you’re always where you need to be without hassle.
Before your arrival, we’ll provide a complete hotel layout, including details on where to register, the Hospitality Suite, Book Bazaar, each Panel Room, Book Room, Main Ballroom, Special Events Room, Media Room, and the Quiet Room.
To reserve your hotel room, visit bouchercon2025.com to register for the convention. You’ll receive your hotel link in the confirmation email once your registration is successfully completed.
